Spin-Resolved Fermi Surface of the Localized Ferromagnetic Heusler Compound Cu2MnAl Measured with Spin-Polarized Positron Annihilation
In this paper we employ angular correlation of positron annihilation radiation to determine the momentum density of the annihilating positron-electron pairs. We use the spin polarization of the positrons emitted by the
22Na-source to separate majority and minority contributions in the magnetic system. The isosurfaces of the electron densities agree nicely with those predicted by density-functional calculations.
