Adding Structures to the Database

From time to time we get requests to add specific structures to the database. While we would like to accommodate these requests, maintaining the database is not our primary job. As such, your request is much more likely to be accommodated if it is sent to the proper address (Privacy Advisory) and includes:

• The space group of the structure
• Information on the atomic positions in the structure, preferably the Wyckoff positions.
• Numerical values for all of the lattice parameters, and for any free internal coordinates.
• Your name (we like to give credit where credit is due). If you want a link from your name to your own home page, let us know that, too.
• Finally, if this is a homework assignment, try to make it look like something else, OK?

Since this is not a full-time job, following these guidelines will not guarantee the inclusion of this structure, but it will make inclusion much more likely.

But be patient, it may take some time.
